In addition, for those users of powder activated carbon (PAC) we can offer automated dosing systems manufactured by Cleeve Materials Handling of the UK.  These sytems eliminate dust and simplify the matter of feeding this difficult material in a controlled way.  The system may also be used for dosing lime or other powders.

We are able to satisfy your requirements for filtration media, including ChemQuest activated carbons as well as other media such as anthracite, garnet and filter sand.

A valuable service which we offer to customers is the reactivation of spent activated carbon at our facility in Springs, to the East of Johannesburg.  This enables customers to reduce costs and to eliminate waste by recycling of contaminated carbon.

Our laboratory is equipped to handle analytical tasks related to activated carbon, including such standard tests as Iodine Number, Methylene Blue Number, Apparent Density and size analysis.

In conjunction with ChemQuest we are able to offer pilot plant services and analyses of your adsorption requirements to arrive at optimum plant performance for purification, odour and taste removal, colour removal and the removal/extraction of other materials from aqueous or gaseous streams.
