 Carbon / Lime Injection System

 

We offer the Cleeve powder dosing system which is suitable for activated carbon powder, lime or other powders.

Benefiting from over 40 years experience in the industry, Cleeve relies on expertise in the storage and handling of powders, to design systems, that enables a continuous feed of PAC or Hydrated Lime to be introduced at a high accuracy.
The powder feed is controlled by the use of a gravimetric dosing unit . The unit, comprising of a screw feeder and a product agitator mounted on a weigh system, can provide a report to either a centralised computer system or independent panel. This will indicate an instant feed rate and a totalised quantity.

The metered product is then transported to the scrubber or reactor by pneumatic conveying.

The PAC and Hydrated Lime can be stored either in silos or F.I.B.C.’s dependant on the product supply and demand.

 

To ensure discharge from a silo, a bin activator  would be used which will de-aerate the product and give a consistent product supply.
